 Gangwon FC will team up with ‘Montenegro national team member’ Kang Tu-ji next year as well.


Gangwon FC announced on the 20th that it had extended the contract with Kang Tu-ji, who joined through the transfer market last summer.

Kang Tu-ji played a big role in Gangwon FC's retention in K League 1 with excellent performance in 18 games, including the promotion and relegation playo
ffs. He also scored one goal from a set piece using his tall height of 190 cm.

The club recognized Kang Tu-ji's abilities early on and changed his registered name from Tuchi to Kang Tu-ji, marking him as 'Gangwon's core defensive resource'.

As if to prove this, Kang Tu-ji prevented Gangwon FC from conceding a goal with solid defense on the ground. Additionally, he was selected for the Montenegro national team twice during the season, making Gangwon FC's name known in Europe.
