Bauer is eager to return to the U.S. “I’m meeting with several agent teams.”

revor Bauer, who is preparing to return to the United States, is negotiating with several clubs.

John Heyman of the New York Post reported on the 6th (Korean time), "Bauer is meeting with several major league teams."

Bauer, who debuted in the big league with the Arizona Diamondbacks as the third overall pick in the first round of the 2011 Major League Baseball Draft, won the National League Cy Young Award after showing great performance with 5 wins, 4 losses, and an average ERA of 1.73 in 11 games in the 2020 season while with the Cincinnati Reds.

And ahead of the next year, 2021, he signed a huge three-year contract worth $102 million (about 132.2 billion won) with the LA Dodgers. But his relationship with the Dodgers was short-lived. This is because Bauer was embroiled in suspicions of ‘sexual assault’.

Afterwards, the Major League Baseball office imposed a severe penalty on Bauer, suspending him for 324 games. Bauer continued to plead not guilty and succeeded in having his suspension reduced to 194 games. Nevertheless, the Dodgers decided to release Bauer. Even though he still has annual salary to pay.

Bauer was labeled a ‘problem child’ and a ‘bad boy’. Because of this image, no club reached out to Bauer. Bauer had no choice but to turn his attention to the Asian stage and became involved with Yokohama DeNA Baystars. He signed a one-year, $3 million contract.

And it led to his great performance. Bauer recorded 10 wins, 4 losses, and an ERA of 2.76 in 19 games this season. He also won the Monthly MVP twice. However, the season ended at the end of August due to injury.

After the season ended, Bauer considered returning to the United States. Not Yokohama. I want to continue my relationship with Bauer. But Bauer still seems to have a strong desire to return to the United States.

John Heyman said, "Yokohama wants Bauer back, but Bauer's legal representative, John Pereroff, and his agent, Rachel Luba, have come to meet with major league teams."

According to recent reports, Trevor's name did not appear in the United States, where the Winter Meetings are being held. Therefore, the possibility of Trevor returning to the major leagues is considered low. What uniform will Trevor be wearing next season?
