Park Chan-ho, Choi Won-jun, and Kim Do-young are deployed forward → Who will be the feared No. 9 hitter?

KIA had three fast hitters. Chan-ho Park set a career high last year and established himself in the batting, Do-young Kim joined the team in 2022, and Won-joon Choi, who went to the military, was discharged, so the power of the three playing together was confirmed even if it was only for a short time last year. Having an effective batting lineup that allows the three to share the 9th batting order and table setter and lead to the central batting lineup of Na Seong-beom, Choi Hyeong-woo, and Socrates is one of the biggest reasons why KIA's power is considered strong. This year, KIA prepares a more solid batting lineup. We plan to try a lineup that completely deploys Park Chan-ho, Choi Won-jun, and Kim Do-young forward in 1-2-3 instead of 9-1-2. KIA coach Lee Beom-ho said, “I think it would be a good idea to try different things to see which batting lineup the opposing teams will be more burdened with. I plan to play a trial game by putting the three in 9-1-2 and 1-2-3. “I don’t kno...

This year is still quiet. KT coach Lee Kang-cheol is carefully checking and diagnosing the condition of the pitchers. KT completed its actual inspection at the spring camp in Okinawa, Japan, after holding a practice game against KIA on the 4th. After training for one day on the 5th, they return home on the 6th and begin preparations for the exhibition game. All starting pitchers played in practice against Hanwha on the 4th and against KIA on the 5th. William Cuevas and Go Young-pyo appeared side by side against Hanwha on the 4th, and Benjamin and Eom Sang-baek appeared side by side against KIA on the 5th. Cuevas and Benjamin were each in the...
